Bonus Episode with David Fifer, MS, NRP, FAWM discussing his work with the National Disaster Medical System. David is the Director and an Assistant Professor of EMS at Eastern Kentucky University as well as the founder of the RedStar Wilderness EMS Agency in the Red River Gorge Wilderness Area. He ALSO co-hosts the RAW Medicine podcast which covers remote, austere and wilderness medicine. In episode 6, Austin speaks with Zola Collins about her path to becoming a registered dietitian. Zola, like many people working in Public Health, has a variety of health interests and her career path so far has included working with the Peace Corps in Senegal, receiving a Masters in Public Health Degree and now working as a clinical dietitian at a skilled nursing facility.
