Hey How Are Ya?

著者: George Gompertz
  • サマリー

  • A light-hearted, upbeat, and jovial show where I get to know a different guest each week through a series of songs and mid-tier chat. Never too serious but never too silly, the mixture of music, culture, comedy, and hypothetical questions means that there should be some easy listening for everyone!

'My life through music' provides six prompts to guide us through the life of our guest: Song that puts a spring in your step; Song of your childhood; Song inherited from your parents; Song you like for its lyrics; Guilty pleasure; and Favourite song of all time.

In between the musical choices, we learn more about the guest through some quick-fire questions, we hear their favourite comedy routine, their favourite item of the arts, their pet peeves, and we test their trivia knowledge.

  • Hey How Are Ya, Sean?
    2024/08/14

This week, Sean shares the six songs that have defined his life. We also engage in frivilous conversation such as, breaking the world record for most pine boards broken between legs from a single jump, and jokes about DJ decks and catching busses. We also sprinkle some culture into the show, reading and discussing the poem 'Digging', by Seamus Heaney. We also learn about the Greenland Shark and 'Ming' the Crab, and finish off with everyday displays of lack of awareness that annoy Brits.

This week, Eloise chose six songs to describe her life, which even involved bringing in lollipops for full immersion, as she chose 'Lollipop' by MIKA!
