Sydney grew up in Queens NY but his mom Clara hails from Cuba. Sydney's mom is no doubt cool - she busts him of out school to drive him two hours to music gigs and they chat everyday. Sydney also starred in HBO Gen Z drama Genera+ion about a group of Orange County high school students exploring love, sexuality, friendship, and family while living in a conservative community. He plays J, a thrill-seeking stoner with impeccable wit. We talk screen tests, out-of-town gigs and proud moms in the first part of this two part episode of My Mum Made Me.
