  • E23: I’m not dead (Proof of Life) Self Love
    2025/03/07

I’m not dead talks to Elizabeth Kranz, Nadene Cherry and Irini Lygnos— three women whose journey to loving themselves have been different and yet share a common thread among them. Self-love is never about perfection; more about acknowledging your worth, honoring your journey, and being gentle with yourself through both triumphs and challenges. It’s a reminder that self-love isn’t static—it evolves with us, through all the different phases of our lives.

Elizabeth Kranz is a remarkable woman whose talents extend far beyond her stunning jewelry creations. While she has a keen eye for vintage treasures to share with others, her true essence lies in the many layers that define her journey—layers that go far deeper than her radiant appearance or the exquisite pieces she curates. A single mother, Elizabeth sought peace and solitude away from the chaos of city life, navigating the challenges of owning a business, going through a difficult divorce, and embracing her truth as she came out later in life. Throughout it all, she has faced her struggles with grace and humility, confronting both personal wounds and the pressures society places on us with courage and resilience.

Nadene Cherry, is corporate Meditation Leader + Speaker, on a mission to share her important message of empowering employees with Permission to Pause. She shares her personal practice with the most stressed out people of all – business people and leads meditations and mindfulness talks for companies. Her journey from the age of 16 working at Dairy Queen, to her early 20s of business school and tech sales, to finally discovering meditation at the age of 27 prepared her for where she is today on her self love tour. This woman screams she wants you to wear wherever you want and she means it when she says “It’s never too late to come home to yourself”.

Irini Lygnos is a recovery advocate and personal coach specializing in addiction recovery. She also hosts the "Crosstalk" podcast, which spreads a message of hope and shows that recovery is possible through relatable, powerful stories. Driven by her passion for recovery, Irini connects deeply with her audience, constantly refining the podcast’s impact. She balances a busy life of work, meetings, social media, and personal well-being. While still finding balance, Crossta

  • E22: I’m not dead (Proof of Life) Reinvention
    2025/03/06

I’m not dead talks to Stacy London, Clothilde Ewing, and Tanja Babich —three women who’ve navigated significant reinventions in their lives. Sometimes these “shifts or pivots” are moments of forced growth or willfully sought out. Their stories of resilience and change show how embracing transformation can lead to new opportunities, even when the path isn’t easy.

Stacy London, renowned stylist and television personality from What Not to Wear, has undergone a transformative reinvention in the public eye. She now uses her platform to challenge stereotypes surrounding middle age, menopause, and the broader conversations about these often-taboo subjects. Through her empowering work, she encourages women to embrace this phase of life with confidence and encourages them to ask the tough questions they've been too afraid to voice. Stacy’s reinvention also includes her exclusive fashion line at QVC and co-hosting her new show Wear Whatever the F You Want.

Clothilde Ewing’s journey is one of continuous reinvention. From her early days as a journalist at CBS News to producing for The Oprah Winfrey Show, she’s always reshaped her path through storytelling. A pivotal New York Times piece sparked a shift, inspiring Clothilde to not only change her own direction but to also transform the narrative for children of color, depicting them in stories filled with joy, belonging, and possibility, instead of focusing on struggle or excellence. Embracing change has become her driving force—both in her personal journey and in the stories she tells.

Tanja Babich is an Emmy Award-winning anchor whose primary talents include reading out loud and projecting an unflappable calm when it feels like the world is on fire. As the Canadian-born daughter of immigrants from remote corners of the planet, she was yelled at in several different languages growing up and credits her north-of-the-border upbringing for a sharp sense of humor. Tanja is such a supporter of women, she births only girls. Her three daughters - Addie, Lola and Jo - are the inspiration behind everything good she's ever done.

  • E21: I’m not dead (Proof of Life) Grief
    2025/03/05

I’m not dead talks to Cara Brophy, Avanti Kumar-Singh and Emily Strauss —three women who’ve faced grief in different ways. Their stories of strength, vulnerability, and courage show how embracing hardship and uncertainty can lead to healing and new possibilities within themselves.

Cara Brophy, a self-proclaimed pro at managing chaos. She has endured profound loss—from losing someone she loved in the 9/11 tragedy, to her 1st marriage ending in divorce, the death of her father, and losing her second love and father of her son to cancer. Through midlife crises, career shifts, and endless existential questions, she’s now driven by one thing: seeking and speaking the truth

Avanti Kumar- Singh is an internationally recognized Ayurvedic practitioner, certified yoga therapist, and former ER doctor. Her approach brings together Western medicine with the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda that comes from her South Asian lineage. After her unexpected breast cancer diagnosis she took an innovative approach to healing, combining eastern and western medicine. We love Dr. Avanti’s deep commitment to helping people feel better and live longer with her new best selling book, The Longevity Formula.

Emily Strauss took inspiration from her background in Art History and worldly travels to launch her fine jewelry brand, EF Collection. After the devastating loss of her son at just 39 days old she turned her grief into honoring her son with the Angels 4 Austin foundation. This initiative helps families in the NICU feel less alone in an extraordinarily difficult time as well as spreading awareness about PKD Now a mother of a beautiful daughter Emily has spoken so bravely and eloquently about this great loss, and how she has been able to use it to help so many people through personal jewelry that keeps their loved ones close to their hearts.
