Jules Maron from Austin Wildlife Rescue is on this week's Inside Austin with host Brian Fitzgerald to talk about their biggest fundraising event of the year. Caring for Critters helps them raise money to care for thousands of wild animals and gives you a chance to see the work they do first hand through their ambassador animals. They also spoke about the changing of the season and gave an update on their Hurricane Beryl efforts.

Bob Bursey from Texas Performing Arts joins host Brian Fitzgerald on today's Inside Austin. They discuss how important art is to the culture of Austin and Central Texas and how important it is to pass along a love for it. Additionally they talked about the their Broadway shows and other performances in the upcoming year and how education can be a key component to a lasting art community.

For this edition of the show host Brian Fitzgerald has a conversation about the food insecurity that happens here in Central Texas with the Chief Development Officer from Central Texas Food Bank. They also discussed Restaurant Weeks and how you can provide eighteen meals for your neighbors in need just by going to dinner.

This show is all about voting. Host Brian Fitzgerald sits down with Voter Registrar Bruce Elfant and Travis County Clerk Dyana Limon-Mercado to talk about how to register to vote and then what to expect on election day.

The deadline to register is October 7th.

Early voting starts October 21st and ends on November 1st.

Election Day is November 5th.
