  • BONUS EPISODE: Halloween
    2024/10/23

WARNING: Halloween has a shady and slimy past. We jump into that history on a decently deep level in this episode. We do not suggest this episode for children. While no expletives are used there are many topics, from druid practices to gay parades, that are explicit in nature and are not for young ears.

Christmas for Christ’s birth, Easter for Christ's resurrection, 4th of July for the founding of our great country, even Thanksgiving has a rich history of gratitude to the one true God. But what about Halloween? What is this holiday on the calendar that we celebrate year after year? Even if we know not the reason we join in with the festivities we oft go right along with the cultural flow. Here Jayce and Sam stop and ask what is the history of the holiday. Samhain (known now as Halloween) predates even the birth of Christ by 900 years or so. How is this the oldest of all our calendar holidays and yet the one with the least amount of knowledge or meaning to us?
