  • Episode 122 : Noree Victoria

    Today we are talking with the Baltimore native, Noree Victoria, is a writer, actor, and filmmaker. Driven by curiosity and storytelling from childhood, Noree wrote her first book at the age of 7, won two national poetry writing competitions in middle school, and bypassed her senior year of high school to enter college at 16. Noree subsequently earned Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Creative Writing, Biology, and African Studies, and a Master of Science degree in Applied Information Technology, graduating with a 4.0 GPA.

    After a stint teaching Biology in Baltimore’s public school system and a tenure as the youngest financial analyst at a fortune 500 corporation, Noree entered the film industry to “dig her tunnels instead of waiting outside doors”. As a multi-hyphenate creator, she won the Best Actress award at AMTC and was awarded a scholarship to study at the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts. While working on-camera, Noree continued her training at the British American Drama Academy in Oxford, England; and when the pandemic slowed Los Angeles film and TV production in 2020 & 2021, Noree completed a certificate at New York Film Academy for filmmaking.

    She has appeared in various award-winning film & TV productions including Queen Sugar and The People vs. OJ Simpson, and several feature films in which she both starred and executive produced. Noree’s stage experience includes Letters Home performed for the original Tuskegee Airmen, Christmas in the City (parts 1 and 2), Snow White, Santa Monica’s New Year’s Eve Revue, and Human Frailties, which she also directed. Noree’s feature film directorial debut, ‘An Arrangement’, written by Helen Shang (Lord of the Rings, Hannibal, 13 Reasons Why) is currently making its world premiere, screening at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival.

    In 2023, Noree completed a Master Certificate in screenwriting, a program from which her first penned television series, ‘Neighborhood H’, has been optioned. Noree has also served two terms as the first Black female Vice-Chair of New Filmmakers Los Angeles - voted one of the top 25 film festivals in the world.

    Most recently, Noree has begun her doctoral journey, working toward her PhD in Integral Health and Psychology.

    Victoria (Styles) Foreman is a dynamic host, event curator who brings her small town roots into big rooms and bigger cities. She is originally from Gallatin Tennessee 30 minutes north of Nashville, Tennessee. After graduating MTSU in 2014, she worked as a retail operations manager before turning her passion for styling into a business.


    During the 2020 pandemic, she launched her LLC as a styling consultant and built a successful five-year career in the industry. In 2022, Victoria expanded her influence by hosting her first Fearless Brunch. It began as a series of sold-out luncheons that allowed for entrepreneurs, creatives, and founders to have a space where they were free to express their personal challenges; while gaining knowledge and resources to fill in the gaps of stagnant business.


    Victoria has made a name for herself in event hosting and curation. Her talent has since led her to larger stages. She's worked with conferences, hosted numerous red carpets, movie premieres, and more. Victoria's work has been featured on platforms such as Lifetime, ATL Plus Magazine, Peacock, and WOPM to name a few. She is also known for her genuine and bubbly personality, thought provoking questions, and desire to share stories. Victoria continues to thrive, creating space for her God-given gifts to shine and inspire others to live more Fearlessly.

    Terayle Hill is a multifaceted actor, producer, and advocate who proudly represents the values instilled in him by his HBCU experience. A graduate of Clark Atlanta University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in Mass Media Arts in 2016, where he honed his craft as a performer and storyteller. His time at Clark Atlanta cultivated his passion for empowering others, fueling his rise as a prominent figure in the entertainment industry.


    Hill’s commitment to community extends beyond the screen. He has served as an ambassador for the NAACP Annual Convention, using his platform to highlight the intersection of art, activism, and education. This role underscores his dedication to advancing equity and representation, principles that are deeply rooted in his HBCU upbringing.


    With roles in major projects like Step Up: High Water, Cobra Kai, and Judas and the Black Messiah, as well as leadership in initiatives such as Everybodies Inc., Hill exemplifies how HBCUs prepare leaders to thrive in their fields while giving back to their communities. He continues to be a proud advocate for HBCUs and the transformative impact they have on shaping future leaders.

  • Episode 119: Alexis Lejona

    Alexis Lejoña, who was born in Brooklyn and raised in the South, has dreamed of becoming a model since she was just 10 years old. Growing

    up in a single-parent household, she couldn’t fully pursue her modeling career until she started college in 2012 at Georgia Gwinnett College. During her time in college, she took part in campus fashion shows and eventually became the President of the fashion show committee. After graduating in 2017, she briefly returned to New York to chase her modeling dreams. However, due to the high cost of living, she chose to move back to Atlanta, where she launched her model development business, originally named Whats Your Runway. This venture began in

    October 2017, following her experience at NYFW. The aim was to equip Atlanta models with the skills to market themselves in various markets.

    Her students have since gone on to walk in prestigious events like NYFW, Paris Fashion Week, and DCFW. Currently, Alexis own Model4Models, where she coach models in

    runway, posing, pageant training, personalized career development and recently launched her mother agency. Her vision for the future includes launching a scholarship program aimed at providing resources and opportunities for underrepresented talent in the fashion world. By partnering with various industry leaders and organizations, Alexis is determined to break down barriers and create a more equitable

    environment for all aspiring models. In addition to her professional endeavors, Alexis is an advocate for mental health awareness within the industry. She regularly hosts seminars and panels to address the challenges models face, encouraging open dialogue and offering support systems that prioritize well-being. Her holistic approach

    to modeling not only focuses on physical appearance but also emphasizes the importance of inner strength and resilience. As Alexis reflects on the journey of Model4Models, she is filled with

    gratitude for the community that has grown around her agency. The success stories of her proteges are a testament to her unwavering dedication and the belief that with the right guidance, anyone can achieve their dreams.

In addition, I have a podcast called More To Life that is entirely devoted to discussing life's changes and issues from the perspective of God's Word. I use my lively personality and extroverted charm, together with my ability to connect with people, to bring creativity and skill along with enjoyment and involvement in my work! With a focus on media and communication studies, I hold a bachelor's degree in Media and CommunicationStudies with a concentration in Organization and Corporate at Clayton State University.     Sasha Del Valle is an actress, producer and publisher; well on her way to achieving immense success. Early on, Sasha knew that she wanted to leave a positive and enduring influence in the realms of entertainment and education.


    Gifted with an aptitude for dance and a love for music, Sasha began her career at only twelve years of age. Her gifts allowed her to travel the world with her dance ensemble whilst teaching salsa professionally.


    Sasha was featured in several music videos and magazines including XXL, SHOW, and KING. With a commanding presence and indisputable talent, Sasha’s career evolved and eventually led her to discover her passion for acting. She has been featured on MTV’S hit shows” Wildn’ Out”, and “Uncommon Sense.” Noteworthy was her starring role in 2009; where she stars alongside 50 Cent in the film: “Before I Self Destruct.”


    Ever expanding and cultivating her craft, Sasha has gone on to successfully develop her career behind the scenes in filming, editing, and production. Her production company is called “Overtime Productions” Ms. Del Valle is determined to take the reins of any visual platform that she encounters with effortless execution.


    More recently, she has released her sixth children’s books called My Beauty, My Strength under her children’s publication company called 12 and Under. “I Know my Rights" was an Amazon #1 best seller.


    Anticipated future projects will be directed toward the improvement of relations between the diverse ethnicities of children and families in Urban Areas; something for which Sasha always has and continues to be a staunch advocate and promoter. “I’d never alienate any race, but I do want to bring awareness to the lack of diversity when it comes to the inclusion of Brown and Black.” She also stands fully behind her heritage, and hopes to publish more bilingual projects going forward, improving language relations, and fading barriers.

    Kiyonte Carter is a model, dancer, and actress. She fell in love with modeling at a very young age during the ‘Americas Next Top Model’ era and since then she knew that’s what she wanted to do, but being a shy kid her mom knew she had to get out of that so that’s when Kiyonte started dancing. She fell in love with the heavy hitting moves and the performance aspect that she also felt like she wanted to dance as well. Then came acting, while being out into acting classes and taking theatre all throughout high school and college, the entertainment industry was where she wanted to leave her mark. And has accomplished many milestones throughout her career and wants to continue making her younger self proud within the new years to come.
