The fires that raged across Maui on August 8th, 2023 left our island ravaged with incomprehensible loss and devastation. Many people have been left confused, scared, outraged, and heartbroken. Listen as Missy, a Maui resident, shares the details of that day along with what was happening on island before the fires ignited and what's been happening since. Missy had the pleasure to talk with Nick Meacham as he shared his story of his near-death experience. He was a young father on his way home from work when he got into a terrible car accident, after which he lived in the hospital in a comatose state for 45 days. Immediately after the accident, Nick recalls leaving his body and floating above the scene of the crash before traveling to Heaven for the duration of his coma. Listen as he recounts meeting his (then unborn) son, meeting and speaking to Christ, and traveling back-and-forth from Heaven to Earth during his coma. Nick also shares the ways the experience impacted his life, managing life with a traumatic brain injury, and the physical rehabilitation he endured to regain his ability to walk and talk. This an incredibly touching story that you don't want to miss.
