  • A Long Time Coming | Update
    2024/03/18
It's been a long time coming. I can't make any promises for consistency, but what I can do is show up with authenticity. Which is what I hope you guys are able to see for every episode of this podcast I've done so far. The reason I started this podcast was to be a safe space for not only myself, but for others to know that their struggle is not only their own, and that there is people who are willing to stand with you and for you in your situation; whatever it may be. If you guys have topics you'd like me to discuss for future episodes, you can submit your requests here. To keep up with the podcast on social media, you can find all the links here. I'll see you in the next episode. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kintsugi-talks/support

  • A New Season
    2023/07/28

Dating isn't easy for anyone, especially those who live with Mental Health/Illness issues.

I'm now single for the first time in a good while 😅 and there has of course been some challenges that have come along with at, as well as dealing with deep seated emotions/feelings that I'm now allowing to come up to the surface and work through that I've kept hidden.

For those who come across this episode, I hope it not only brings comfort to those who may be in the same boat as me, but also some knowledge gained by people who weren't made known of things of this nature before.

  • Solitude, Loneliness, Isolation | What are they and how they affect us
    2023/02/18
During many moments of my own personal time of reflection and prayer, the question of how solitude, loneliness, and isolation have affected my life and what they are, have come across my mind. I'm not perfect by any means. Everything I have said mentioned in this episode I'm still learning to practice for myself. One of the many reasons why I decided to create this platform was so that I can share my own journey in my deepening with my relationship with God, my mind, body, and soul. I hope you all are able to gain some new found knowledge and more importantly the encouragement and confidence to implement these practices into your every day life. • How to come back down? | The Aftermath
    2023/02/10
The discussion of what life looks like after a failed suicide attempt is one I don't hear talked about enough. As someone who had a failed attempt just a few months ago, and many others before that, I'm familiar with the process all too well. In todays episode, I hope me sharing my story and journey will give those who have a loved one with a past of suicide attempts a better understanding, and for those who are in the process of putting their life back together, a sense of hope with the fact that you're not alone. Here is a template for a Safety Plan that I created, free to use, so you can get started on making your own. https://www.canva.com/design/DAFZ2y7HNko/fkrJBxAf8Op0EQ7aRhsuhg/view?utm_content=DAFZ2y7HNko&utm_campaign=designshare&utm_medium=link&utm_source=publishsharelink&mode=preview Where you can follow and keep up with the Podcast: https://linktr.ee/KintsugiTalksPod --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/kintsugi-talks/support
