Too many believers treat salvation like fire insurance. They’re happy to have their ticket to heaven but fail to fulfill their responsibility to grow spiritually now. We need to pursue a fruitful life by considering how God equips us as Christians to grow and grab onto the value of diligently striving for godliness. For that we’ll dive into 2 Peter 1. Let’s keep growing in Christ!

Let’s get real about temptation. We’re drawn to the dopamine hit of getting near sin, but not (hopefully) entering in. We want to test ourselves and prove our mettle, and so we intentionally step into temptation’s path. We want the rush of escape. Temptation is tempting. But Jesus warns us against such dabbling.
