  • Episode 32: I'm Fragile & That's Ok | Paradox of Aloneness + Connection
    2024/10/29

In this episode, I talk about the paradox of Aloneness and Connection. Growing up as the minority in lots of spaces, I learned how to match energies, to fit in, and to be accepted, often leaving me in performative mode, exhausted and disconnected from my true self. Now, as I step away from that constant need to prove myself, I’ve found strength in vulnerability, and peace in being alone. In this raw and honest reflection, I talk about how my alone time has allowed me to make real connections with myself, with God, and with others. It’s about letting go of the lies, reconnecting with my real self, and learning that true connection starts from within.

In this episode, I chat about the paradox of Aloneness and Connection. Growing up as a minority in many spaces, I learned to adapt, to match energies, and to fit in, a pattern that often left me feeling performative, exhausted, and disconnected from my true self. But now, as I step back from the constant need to prove myself, I’m finding strength in vulnerability and peace in alone time.

Through honest reflection, I share how moments of aloneness have been pivotal in forming authentic connections, first with God, then with myself, and ultimately with others. This episode is about letting go of false narratives, reconnecting with the person I truly am, and understanding that genuine connection begins from within. Join me as we explore the journey from isolation to self-discovery, revealing that sometimes, feeling fragile is exactly where we find our real strength.

  • Episode 30: I'm a Borderline Narcissist & I'm Ok | Paradox of Uncertainty and Wisdom
    2024/10/01

In this episode, we explore the complex and often misunderstood traits of borderline narcissism. I talk about how narcissistic tendencies can stem from childhood trauma, including growing up in dysfunctional households, experiencing housing insecurity, or facing other Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs). We discuss the fine line between healthy self-reflection and an excessive focus on self, and how these behaviors can keep us from embracing the uncertainty of life.

Through personal reflection and insights, I examine how our need for control and validation can block us from tapping into true wisdom. Tune in as we unpack the paradox of uncertainty and wisdom, and discover how embracing the unknown can lead to personal growth, even when we struggle with self-centered tendencies.
