Leading the Way: Jayson Tatum led Boston with 29 points and 7 rebounds. Payton Pritchard hit 6 3's and scored 22 off the Bench. Luke Kornet was 6 of 6 from the field and 7 of 7 from the line and scored 19. Celtics with 5 in Double Figures. Derrick White hit 4 3's and scored 18.

No JB For Celtics: Jaylen Brown missed his 1st game of the season due to a left hip flexor strain. Brown is averaging 25.7 points per game thru his 1st 6 games of the season. He was 1-for-21 on 3's over his previous 3 games after knocking down 11 3's over his 1st 3 games of the season. Luke Kornet was in the starting lineup for the 2nd straight game.

1st 24: The Celtics hit 6 3's and led by 14, 38-24, after the 1st Quarter. Celtics went on a 26-8 run and led 30-14 at one point in the 1st Quarter. Payton Pritchard hit a on 3 in the 2nd Quarter and put the Celtics up, 50-31. Pritchard ended up hitting 4 3's in the 2nd Quarter and 5 for the Half and had 17 off the Bench. Jayson Tatum scored 13 points in the 1st Quarter and ended up with 17 1st-Half points along with Pritchard. The Celtics were up 68-50 at halftime.

Rough 3rd: The Hornets opened up the 3rd Quarter on a 14-0 run. The Hornets hit on 5 of their 1st 6 3-point attempts, but ended up missing on 8 of 9 3-point attempts the rest of the way in the 3rd. Celtics scored just 17 points in the 3rd Quarter, but managed to take an 11-point lead to the 4th.

What's Next?: The conclude their 4-game road trip in Atlanta against the Hawks Monday night. Hawks will be on the back end of a back-to-back after playing the Pelicans in New Orleans on Sunday. Hawks won their 1st 2 games to start the season and are currently on a 4-game losing streak. The Celtics are home against the Golden State Warriors next Wednesday (November 6) and home against the Brooklyn Nets next Friday (November 8).
