The Tennessee Titans dropped to 3-13 on Sunday, but a report that came out on Saturday may have been the most impactful part of the weekend as it was reported that head coach Brian Callahan will be retained into 2025. While this may be met with anger by most in the fanbase, it is the right move for the organization. Callahan spoke to the media on Monday and announced that both quarterbacks, Mason Rudolph and Will Levis, will be playing in Week 18 against the Texans and this appears to be a sign the organization is on board with the tank. Finally, the Houston Texans come to town and are doing the Titans a huge favor by playing their starters in the matchup.

The Tennessee Titans lost once again to the Jacksonville Jaguars, but this time it felt like a win because the Titans got a significant boost to their draft pick with the result. For multiple reasons, this really was a perfect tank loss. The Tennessee Titans will be needing a new quarterback in 2025 and the smartest route is to go get a veteran bridge guy and there are some very recognizable names who could be on the market. First of all, Aaron Rodgers, who recently spoke highly of Tennessee as a state while sporting a wily grin. Second is Kirk Cousins, who does fills the need in theory, but provides zero fun and even less upside. Finally, Sam Darnold is the top veteran option, but the financial commitment should scare the Titans away.

The Tennessee Titans seemed like a team that needed to build momentum and organizational confidence down the stretch of the season, but the reality is at this point there is no chance of that happening and because of that the Titans need to TANK their last two games to ensure something positive comes from this wretched season. When you look at the draft order right now, the Titans are skating on thin ice and don't have room for an error in the form of a win over the Jaguars or Texans. The Tennessee Titans got absolutely embarrassed by the Indianapolis Colts and this team looked like they have QUIT on head coach Brian Callahan, even if they fought back at the end. The Titans defense allowed more rushing yards than ever in franchise history, getting bullied in the trenches and the pathetic offense turned the ball over multiple times. We could wake up on Monday morning and hear practically anyone name in the organization has been fired and it would be hard to argue too heavily against it. The Tennessee Titans have benched Will Levis and now Mason Rudolph with saving Brian Callahan and guiding the Tennessee Titans to a Christmas victory. With Mason Rudolph now in, the Titans will have to take advantage of the Indianapolis Colts with the short and quick passing game. Something Rudolph should excel at. Also, stopping the Colts' rushing attack and not losing on Special Teams will be critical.
