Dan Strachan (daniel.strachan@cisa.dhs.gov), senior industry engagement lead with the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), talks with ILMA Communications Director Caitlin Jacobs about the threats that small manufacturers face in the cyber realm and how they can protect themselves.
Many ILMA members may know Strachan from his time at AFPM, where he established the Cyber Security Committee, now the leading authority on the subject for the oil and gas industry.
“Cybersecurity is everyone’s business,” Strachan says. “CISA would really like to be there for the smaller manufacturers as well as the larger ones, because we all work together, and when one domino falls, it can all happen.”
