• Prayerful Pauses: Genesis 13
    2024/09/30

In this "Prayerful Pause," we delve into the journey of faith as seen in Genesis 13, exploring how God’s grace remains constant, even in our failures. Many of us carry the misconception that a life of faith must be marked by perfect obedience, but the Bible offers a different perspective—one where failures are part of the journey, not the end of it. Through the story of Abraham and others in Scripture, we see that God uses our mistakes to refine us and draw us closer to Him. In this episode, we’ll reflect on how God’s grace meets us in our weakest moments, offering repentance, renewal, and new beginnings. Whether you’re facing a personal struggle, dealing with past mistakes, or simply seeking to deepen your walk with God, this message reminds us that every stumble is an opportunity for His redemptive power. Join us as we explore how to embrace God’s grace, learn from our failures, and keep moving forward in faith. Let this time of reflection inspire you to return to the altar of grace, trusting that God’s mercies are new every morning.

    Song Lyrics:

    Verse 1:

    The Lion and Lamb

    The scars in His hands

A mountain of crowns we’ll lay before the throne

    And worship Christ alone

    Pre-Chorus:

Oh, how do I respond to what I’ve seen

I guess I’ll join with heaven as they sing

    Chorus:

    Holy, holy, holy

    Is the Lord

    Worthy, worthy, worthy

    Is the Lord

    Verse 2:

    The first and the last

    The future and past

The Alpha and the Omega’s in control

    The Son of God enthroned

    The thief in the night

    The fire in His eyes

His enemies taste the fury of His sword

    And receive their just reward

    Pre-Chorus 2:

Oh, how do I respond to what I’ve heard

This wondrous revelation of Your Word

    Bridge:

    What could I say

    What could I bring

What do I have to offer to the King

    When You are everything

    Sinners and saints

    Fall to the ground

Every tongue confess and knee will bow

    So I’ll join creation now
