One of the busiest people in snowboarding. We have been trying to get Erik Leon on the podcast since the first episode and it only took 15 to get him! Hailing from Southern California, Leon gives us a look into a career he has created with some of the biggest brands in the outdoor space (including The North Face and Ford) without an agent! We have a special one today! For those who loved snowboarding in the early 2010s, Jason "Hondo" Newman was at the center of snowboarding media. As the online editor over at Transworld Snowboarding, he was the face of the entertaining interviews and was the man who held the Instagram password for the site as it blew up with the app. His list of projects span from Adidas to Shaun White with plenty of highlights along the way. He has never done a podcast and we are still pretty new at it, so we decided to have him on to chat what life is like since he left snowboarding media for a successful career in New York City. A special episode with the voice of snowboarding, Todd Richards, to discuss the recent announcement of Shaun White's Snow League and the X Games League. As Todd puts it, going from no contests on the horizon to a ton, this is all going to get very interesting. Todd joins Mark Clavin and T. Bird to clarify some of the questions surrounding the new leagues, as well as talk potential impact for riders, fans and more.
