What made you decide to open this business? I noticed there was a large market for this type of work, so I decided to offer a coating no one else applies in town that's durable and long lasting! How did you get started? I started working for a decorative concrete coating company in 2017. After 3 ½ years with the company, I decided to open my own business! What drives you to do what you do? What motivates you? My biggest motivation would be my son and family. What has surprised you most when owning a business? How you learn something new and different every year! What was it like when you first started? Very difficult and time consuming! What is something most people don't know about the business? We are locally owned and family operated! What would your customers say they love most about your business? We treat everyone with respect and we’re honest with our customers no matter what. What are some odd requests you've had from clients? Matching red racing stripes from a Mustang, so we could put the same color red flakes into the floor. How do you motivate and encourage your staff? I make it very clear there is absolutely zero disrespect or toxic work environments at the place of business. What are your goals over the next year? Possibly get two crews going and maintain the quality of work we’ve been doing in the past! What is something most people don't know about you? I started the business when I was only 22 years old! Why do you think it's important for people to shop local? Without small and local businesses, we would have to rely on franchises and corporations for practically everything. What are some of the highest highs you've had in life so far? Becoming a father. What are some of the lowest lows you've had in life so far? And what got you through it? All the time I’ve put in and the sacrifices that were made to get where I am today. Anything exciting going on that customers should know about?
