TODAY'S REAL LIFE COCKTAIL:
Rum Daisy

1 1/2 ounces Puerto Rican rum (Ani uses Don Q 151)
Juice of 1/2 lime
splash of Grenadine

In a shaker filled with cracked ice, squeeze the half lime and drop it in the shaker.
Add the Grenadine and the rum and shake well.
Pour without straining into an old fashioned glass.

Ani likes to dress this with a good quality maraschino cherry and a slice of very sweet pineapple

TODAY'S REAL LIFE COCKTAIL:
Classic Gin Gimlet

1/2 ounce simple syrup
1/2 fresh squeezed lime juice
2 1/2 ounces of gin - Ani uses London Dry
lime wheel for dressing

Combine liquids together in a cocktail shaker filled with cracked ice
Hard shake until well mixed and chilled
Strain and pour into your favorite chilled cocktail glass
Garnish with a lime wheel or dressing of your choice

Want a longer drink? Use a tall glass, add club soda and adjust liquids as desired.

French 75 In honor of Marie Le Pen - long live the revolution!

I ounce Gin
1/2 ounce fresh lemon juice
1/2 ounce simple syrup
3 ounces Champagne
Lemon twist

Add gin, lemon juice and simple syrup to a shaker with cracked ice and shake until well chilled.
Strain into a Champagne flute.
Top off with Champagne.
Garnish with the lemon twist.

Enjoy!
