Right now, we're looking at an overnight temperature around 72 degrees, with calm winds making for a smooth night. But hold onto your helmets, because Sunday's gonna be a play with some serious weather action!
Expect showers and thunderstorms rolling in between 1 and 5 pm. We might see some patchy fog in the morning, but then it'll be partly sunny with temperatures climbing up to a toasty 91 degrees. And hey, talk about a weather curveball - we've got a 60 percent chance of precipitation. Rainfall might drop between a tenth and quarter of an inch, but thunderstorms could amp that up!
Now for our Weather Playbook segment - let's talk about heat index! Think of heat index like a defensive strategy for your body. It's how hot it actually feels when humidity combines with temperature. On days like these, your body has to work overtime to cool down, just like a quarterback reading a complex defense.
Three-day forecast coming in hot:
Monday - Chance of thunderstorms, high of 91 degrees
Tuesday - Partly sunny, 50 percent chance of storms
Wednesday - Mostly sunny, hitting 91 degrees
Oh, and for all you Nashville folks, watch out for those heat index values potentially reaching 98 degrees. That's hot enough to fry an egg on the sidewalk - or my old football helmet!
It's gonna be WIIIIILD out there, folks!
