このコンテンツについて
Networking, meeting new people, and building genuine business relationships is an important part of building a business as a solopreneur but it can be confusing to navigate when you are also trying to sell your service in an authentic way.
Creating genuine relationships takes time and practice. It’s far more than going to an event and passing out business cards. It requires curiosity, listening, and following up later to learn more about the other person.
This is a different approach than the purely transactional “salesy” way many solopreneurs try to avoid, but there are also some challenges that arise with a purely relationship-based networking strategy.
Sometimes, you may find yourself getting too far into the friend zone, which will take up all your time and bring you no business leads.
Today’s episode is all about navigating the fine line between networking, lead generation and sales.
