She took her degree in Fine Art in Manchester and has been a teacher and lecturer as well as a full-time artist. She has worked in a range of media, including oil, gouache, acrylic, pen and ink and etching. Her subject matter has included portraiture, landscape, tropical scenes and jungles, religious imagery, and illustration.

    María González is dedicated to the teaching of Spanish, she has a degree in Tourism and a Master degree in Spanish as a Foreign Language.

    She has experience in different fields in the sector of tourism and education, in Spain and in other countries. She is passionate about travel, tourism, learning about other cultures and enjoying new experiences, having lived a year in Helsinki and almost three years in Liverpool.
