  • Sound healing, body image and peaceful eating with Tiffany Sparrow

    In this podcast, we explore the fascinating world of sound healing with Tiffany Sparrow, a music therapist and body image coach who is now teaching sound healing. Tiffany takes us through what sound healing is, how it works, and who can benefit from it. She also shares her own journey in sound healing and how it has transformed her life. At the end of the podcast, Tiffany leads us through a brief sound integration, allowing us to experience the power of sound healing firsthand. This podcast is perfect for anyone interested in exploring alternative therapies for holistic healing.

    Tiffany Sparrow first discovered the healing potential of music through her own journey recovering from eating disorders as a teen.  She found therapeutic singing, chanting and yoga to be more effective than talk therapy in getting to the heart of her wounds. She now supports people to heal body-image and eating disorders, trauma and anxiety/depression, with similar methods: music facilitated counselling, breath work, mind-body practices and soundbath journeys. 
    She is a certified music therapist (MTA), Registered Counseling Therapist (RCT), and Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT 500). She completed her master of Arts in Ethnomusicology and researched the health benefits of group singing and chanting. She is also a singer-songwriter and recording artist and has released fusion-style mantra albums and singer-songwriter style albums. 
    Most recently, Tiffany has created a 60-hour Sound Practitioner Certification Training to teach people to facilitate soundbaths  safely and effectively for groups. 
    Tiffany is honoured to serve others in this journey of remembering who we really are.
