Pregnancy and CGM with hybrid closed loop the AIDAPT study with Professor Helen R. Murphy

  • サマリー

  • Stefania Guerra Director Scientific Affairs at Dexcom talks to Professor Helen R. Murphy about her landmark study; AiDAPT which looks at the use of hybrid closed loop in pregnancy amongst pregnant women with type 1 diabetes.

Helen will give the background to this randomised controlled trial undertaken during the pandemic and the results showing how automated insulin delivery (AID) in pregnancy can support the tight time in range that is so important for people living with diabetes who are pregnant. They will also explore why this is so important across all stages of pregnancy and the future implications on the care of pregnant women of this study and its results. A great listen for anyone looking after people who are pregnant with type 1 diabetes. Refs for description.

With; Stefania Guerra Ph.D, Msc. Director Scientific Affairs, Dexcom & Professor Helen R. Murphy MBBChBAO, MD, FRACP
