According to Mayo Clinic, postpartum depression (PPD) is a severe and long-lasting form of depression that can start during pregnancy or after childbirth. It can interfere with a mother's ability to care for her baby and handle daily tasks. Our guest, Joy Kitanga-Dabo experienced postpartum depression and by the grace of God, support, and proper treatment was healed! Her testimony is a blessing to new mothers and those connected to new mothers alike.
Joy is a wife, mother, Bible teacher, speaker, mentor, host of the Voice Imprints Podcast, and founder of God Imprints Ministries and the Indomitable Woman Circle. Her mission is to teach, inspire, and encourage Christian women and families globally to seek God and pray.
Joy reached a pivotal point where she sought her purpose as a wife, but she needed Godly prayer warriors to support her. After over 8 years of marriage, she has developed a community to provide engaged and married women with the same support she longed for.
