  • Repartee with Naval Captain (Aspiring) Maddox D
    2024/10/02

Today's podcast is with SuperStar US Naval Academy Student, Maddox D. Maddox challenges me with real life questions facing college students aspiring to transition to careers after college. He also asks great questions pertaining to any young adult, who has recently transitioned from high school to college.

Maddox's parlay into the the US Naval Academy is no easy feat. The US Naval Academy has an acceptance rate of 8%. Not great odds, but Maddox got in with great grades, great test scores and great parents.

Maddox has big plans for his life. I commend him for his willingness to banter with me about finances at a basic level, which will ultimately lead to his future success.

By the way, Maddox is the older brother of Luka D, whom I had Q & A on last weeks' episode. Maddox is also my nephew and godson.

This was a really fun episode as I learned a lot from Maddox.

  • Fireside Chat with Student/Athlete Luka D
    2024/09/25

Today I had the pleasure of interviewing High School Student/Athlete Luka D. Luka is also known as my godson and nephew. Luka came to me about a year ago and asked why I have not interviewed any young folks on the podcast about their questions about finance. Well, I decided to bring his question to life. Luka is wise beyond his years as you will see by his questions and methodical process on the podcast.

I was both happy and inspired to interview him. I probably learned just as much from him as he took away from the interview with me.

Luka, thank you for inspiring me grow.

  • Season 7 Premiere
    2024/09/18

We are back for another wonderful season of Real Talk with Life After Grief Chris. The opening of Season 7 is all about teenagers and college students asking financial questions. During Season 6, I was probed by some very curious high schoolers and college students to answer financial questions, which are important to up and coming full-fledged adults.

This was really fun for me as it took me back to my high school and college years. Of course, I will also throw in some good information for adults and parents along the way.

Cheers & see you on the next episode!
