このコンテンツについて

"Reason To Believe" is a platform that celebrates the diverse voices of neurodivergent individuals, emphasizing their unique perspectives & experiences. This initiative shines a spotlight on the creativity & talents of everyday individuals who are not only neurodivergent but also contribute significantly to various creative-minded fields. We will also showcase storytelling through thriving educators, filmmakers, musicians, authors, chefs, & more. By sharing their stories & artistic expressions, "Reason To Believe" aims to foster understanding & appreciation for the rich contributions that these individuals make to society, encouraging a broader recognition of the value of neurodiversity in the creative landscape

Produced & hosted by Brian Quain, a passionate ally & educator with a recent autism diagnosis, our podcast aims to normalize conversations around neurological differences using humor, storytelling, & insightful interviews. We believe that sharing these powerful narratives can inspire those on the spectrum who may be struggling with confidence or feeling the need to mask their true selves in various situations—be it at work, at school, with friends, or with family.

  • Neuro-Mixed Monday #5: Casie interjects on when Brian is always "Squirreling"
    2025/05/26

What is "squirelling" and why does Brian have a heavy case of the "squirrels" all the time? This makes it impossible for Brian to enjoy a dinner when there are TV's on, or a guitar player doing their worst cover of "Wonderwall." It could be when you are on the phone and something catches your attention, and you zone out on the conversation for a minute or two. Squirelling can be exhausting and something many of us with ASD and ADHD are afflicted with every day. In this episode, Brian brings it up to Casie, and they go over how it affects their "any given day" and how Casie handles it too.

  • Interview with Rich (Dick) Stone of Memoirs Coffee Roasters
    2025/05/23

This episode has been a LONG time coming, and it's finally made it to your podcast listening ears or ear goggles/air pods. I get the opportunity to sit with my buddy and dear friend, Rich Stone (Memoirs Coffee Roasters), as we discuss his amazing company, Florida punk rock, our safe space, and safe place, but what makes our tism's tick. Rich has the best heart, is very much in tune with his ASD, and always has an open door to discuss food, music, TV, philosophy, or whatever you need to get off your chest.

You can find his coffee, and you need to find his coffee in your mug soon, over at: www.memoirscofee.com

  • Neuro-Mixed Thursday (Not A Mistake): Casie goes down Memory Lane with Brian's diagnosis
    2025/05/22

Due to some technical difficulties, which Brian had better get fixed this morning, while you are listening to this episode, we decided to hit record and Casie discusses Brian's diagnosis, and before that. Why did Brian NOT think he was neurospicy? Why did Brian have a hard time coping with it? But, stick around to the end and find out why the podcast is called "Reason To Believe," and we thank the man that inspired it, and how he is speaking on behalf of MANY of us, during his European Tour last week.

We will be back within 24-48 hours with our dear friend and one of Brian's favorite people in the world, Rich Stone of Memoirs Coffee Roasters in Knoxville, TN.
