  • God of Creativity
    2025/02/17

Send us your questions and reflections!

In today's episode, we dive deep into one of the most profound questions that has puzzled theologians for centuries: Why did God create? In Genesis, God declares everything He created as "good," and we explore why, as a perfect and self-sustaining being, God would choose to create anything at all.

God doesn’t create because He needs us. He creates because His goodness and love overflow and demand to be shared. His blessing, seen throughout the creation narrative, reveals His desire to speak goodness over His creation, filling it with love and purpose. And just as we are made in His image, we are called to share His love with others.

Through biblical reflections and thought-provoking questions, Rediscovering Faith invites you to reflect on God’s purpose in creating the world and humanity, and how His love continually pours into our lives. Join us in each episode as we seek to encounter God in deeper ways, rediscovering the depths of His love, goodness, and purpose for us.

Take a moment to pause, reflect, and rediscover the beauty of your faith. Let’s dive in together.

  • Proximity of the Heart
    2025/02/12

Send us your questions and reflections!

In today’s episode of Rediscovering Faith, Pastor Evan Ryder takes us through the powerful Parable of the Prodigal Son in Luke 15:11-32. Exploring the relationships between the father and his two sons, Pastor Evan invites us to reflect on the true meaning of proximity—not just physical closeness, but the posture of our hearts in our relationships with God and others.

While the younger son distanced himself through reckless living, the older son’s heart was equally distant despite outward obedience. Pastor Evan highlights how both sons missed the essence of what the father desired: reconciliation, mercy, and transformation.

Are you pushing boundaries like the younger son? Or are you like the older son, faithfully serving but missing the heart of God’s call? Join us as we explore the deeper invitation to rediscover faith—not through proximity alone, but by allowing our hearts to be shaped by God's love
