  • Kane Brown | Friday Night Takeover
    2025/07/21

The new era of Kane Brown is coming, previewed in part by the stomping new song "2 Pair." The singer recently caught up with Rob + Holly to talk about the making of the song, what to expect from the next chapter of KB, and fulfilling his childhood dream of having his own monster truck.

"It was sick, driving it was awesome," Kane shares of his time behind the wheel of his own Kane Brown monster truck, the K-Rex. "Driving a monster truck, you don't know what to expect. But It was insane."

Brown got to take the life-sized truck for a spin, and also got the die-cast mini version for his kids. "They loved the video, but they're excited they see the truck. I don't really buy them toys unless it's bikes or something, Kate does all the shopping for toys, but the one toy that I did buy him was a monster truck, Monster Jam track. So they played with that and then they got like the unicorn truck on there and all that stuff. So I said, 'I hope my truck does does well on the track.'"

To hear more from Kane Brown about his next era, and the song with his wife that they love but never put out, listen to the full conversation with Rob + Holly above.

  • Ella Langley | Friday Night Takeover
    2025/07/14

The drive of Ella Langley has taken her to great heights, from ACM Award-winning success in music, right down to dog training, nothing is standing in the way of Ella being great at something.

"This is kind of an annoying thing about me, but it has gotten me where I'm at in my life, so I have to appreciate it," Langley shares with Rob + Holly during the 'Friday Night Takeover.' "I don't like to be bad at the things that I want to be good at."

"It's to a level where it's like, I just will have to learn how to get better at this." This happened for Ella with dog training her pups, but it really applies to everything. "I mean, if it's down to playing cornhole, literally I'm very serious about the game of cornhole."

The singer admits to taking it "a little too far every time," but she still finds room as an artist to make space for the imperfection. "I just care so much about the outcome, and there's like, obviously a point where I feel good about where it is with the song. I love the beauty of imperfection, and I think there's obviously certain kinds of music that are tuning and extreme tuning and stuff like with Pop, like that makes sense. There's certain songs where that makes sense, but for me, just letting it be a little unperfect, the imperfections make it a song."

"But yeah, I mean with my songwriting, with how a song sounds, with the lights on stage, with the music video, I have my hand in literally everything," Ella reveals. "I'm like, 'it has to be this exact way,' and it's quite annoying because you can't always make everything be exactly the way that you want it to be, but I can damn sure try."
