Aishwarya Magesh became the parent of a pre-term son sixteen years ago, but doctors did not inform her that her son would be disabled. Her mothering journey was one of seeking to understand her son, seek support for his needs, adapt her own approaches to caring for and take on educating him herself. Now she helps educate and support other parents facing their own challenging journeys of seeking diagnoses and creating better educational and home lives for their children.
