  • Hello, my name is Ryan and welcome to The Monologue Hour. Join me every week on a Tuesday as I go on a Monologue for an hour. Whether it be personal reflections on experiences in my life thus far, giving my thoughts on what's going on in the world at the moment, and even the odd episodes where I speak to people I find interesting. As a self employed podcast producer, and someone who has been involved in podcasting in many roles over recent years, I'm incredibly excited to start my own project! So why not start your Tuesday morning the right way with a coffee, and a pair of headphones and lets get to talking! In this maiden episode of The Monologue Hour, I get into why starting a podcast, especially solo podcasting is such an intimidating prospect for people, including me! Why do we get so anxious about starting? Do we put an unrealistic expectation on ourselves? Feeling the need to have a "Host" type persona, procastination holding us back, and the reality to remind us there's no pressure as no one is listening in the beginning.
