    Living With A Biblical Worldview

Have you ever wondered why so many Christians struggle to align their lives with God’s truth?

Or why, in the midst of a culture bombarding us with ideas and opinions, it’s so easy to lose focus on what’s truly important? Well, it all comes down to the lens we’re using to view the world. In this episode, we’ll define what a worldview really is, break down the reasons why so many Christians don’t have a biblical perspective, and explore how Scripture calls us to live differently. We’ll also look at practical steps you can take to shift your mindset toward God’s truth.

  • October 20, 2024 Sermon - A Life of Purity
    2024/10/18

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

    A Life of Purity

The preaching goal for this message is for you to fully understand the following:

    1. You Are To Guard Your Heart with God’s Word

I want to encourage you to make a daily commitment to immerse yourself in Scripture. I want to show you that God’s Word isn’t just information but a safeguard for your hearts, protecting you from sin and temptation. By treasuring God’s Word in your hearts, you will be equipped to walk in purity.

    2. You Are To Seek God Wholeheartedly

I want to challenge you to pursue God with all your heart. This means not just casually reading the Bible or attending church, but seeking God as a priority in your lives. I want to encourage you to live with intentionality, knowing that the more you seek God, the less room there is for wandering into sin.

    3. That True Joy Is Found In Living Out God’s Truth

I want to inspire you to find delight in God’s commandments, not as restrictive rules, but as a source of joy and freedom. I want to help you see that meditating on and obeying God’s Word leads to true fulfillment that is greater than anything the world can offer. The more you align your lives with His Word, the more you’ll experience lasting joy and peace.

  • October 13, 2024 Sermon - Walking In Faithfulness
    2024/10/11

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

    Walking In Faithfulness

Faithfulness is not just a one-time act; it is a daily choice to trust and obey God in every circumstance. It begins with the small, unseen tasks of life, continues through the trials we face, and leads ultimately to the eternal reward God has promised us. We are called to be faithful because God is forever faithful to us. His promises never fail, and His love never wavers. As you go forth from this place, remember that your faithfulness—whether in small acts of service or enduring through hardship—matters to God. He sees you, He is with you, and He will reward you. Let us live each day with the confidence that our faithfulness is anchored in God’s unchanging character and His eternal promises.

  • October 6, 2024 Sermon - You’ve Got the Joy and Peace … or Do You?”
    2024/10/04

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

You've Got The Joy and Peace...or Do You?

Here are three key takeaways from this expository sermon based on John 15:1-11 and Galatians 5:22-23.

    1. Joy and peace are fruits of the Spirit, not dependent on circumstances. True joy and peace come from abiding in Christ, not from external situations or temporary happiness. As we remain connected to Him, we experience His constant presence and provision, regardless of life's challenges.

    2. Self-centeredness and disobedience block the flow of joy and peace. Focusing on ourselves or rebelling against God's will leads to frustration, anger, and a lack of fulfillment. Joy and peace are found in surrendering to God's purposes and walking in obedience to His commands.

    3. Joy and peace grow through abiding in Christ and exposure to His Word. As we abide in Christ and immerse ourselves in Scripture, our hearts are filled with His love, and we experience the fullness of joy and peace. Prayer, obedience, and bearing fruit for His Kingdom deepen our sense of fulfillment in Him.

  • September 29, 2024 Sermon - Loving Your Neighbor
    2024/09/27

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

    Loving Your Neighbor!

Here are three key takeaways from this expository sermon based on Leviticus 19:9-18 and Galatians 5:22-23.

    1. Love is More Than an Emotion—It Requires Action: True love is demonstrated in how we treat others, especially those in need. It calls us to go beyond words and emotions and take practical steps to meet the needs of those around us.
    2. Integrity and Justice Are Essential to Love: We cannot claim to love our neighbors while acting dishonestly, showing favoritism, or harboring bitterness. Love requires fairness, honesty, and a heart of compassion for all people.
    3. Love Must Be Rooted in God’s Grace: We are not capable of loving others fully on our own. It is only through the power of the Holy Spirit that we can love as God has commanded, extending grace, forgiveness, and compassion to those around us.

  • September 22, 2024 Sermon - Forsaking The Source
    2024/09/20

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

    Forsaking The Source!

Here are three key takeaways from this expository sermon based on Jeremiah 2:4-13 and other passages:

    1. Spiritual Adultery Leads to Brokenness: Like Israel and Judah, when we turn away from God and pursue idols—whether they be material things, relationships, or self-made philosophies—we are committing spiritual adultery. This betrayal of our relationship with God leads to emptiness, much like a broken cistern that cannot hold water. Idols may promise satisfaction, but they leave us spiritually dry and unfulfilled.
    2. Forsaking the Fountain of Living Waters: God offers Himself as the "fountain of living waters," an endless source of life, peace, and satisfaction. However, when we reject Him, we try to quench our thirst with broken, man-made cisterns—things like wealth, power, or temporary pleasures. These cisterns cannot hold water and will ultimately leave us thirstier than before, as only God can truly satisfy our souls.
    3. Foolish Exchanges Lead to Destruction: Israel's greatest sin was exchanging the glory of the living God for lifeless idols. This is akin to trading a priceless treasure for something worthless. In our lives today, we must guard against the temptation to exchange God’s eternal promises for temporary, fleeting pleasures. Like the Israelites, we must recognize that only God offers true fulfillment, and anything else is as futile as a sieve trying to hold water.

  • September 15, 2024 Sermon - Christian by Name or Christian by Nature!
    2024/09/13

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

Christian by Name or Christian by Nature!

Here are three key takeaways from this expository sermon based on John 3:1-6 and other passages:

    1. 1. A Christian Is a Follower of Christ: Being a Christian means following Jesus, not just believing in Him intellectually, but walking in obedience to His voice every day. Jesus said His sheep know His voice and follow Him. The question is—are you hearing His voice and following Him, or are you drifting into the comfort of cultural Christianity?

      2. A Christian Is Not Defined By Good Works or Tradition: Salvation is by grace through faith, not by anything we can earn or achieve. Good works don’t save us; they are the evidence of a heart transformed by God’s grace. If you’ve been trying to earn God’s love through your actions or relying on tradition to define your faith, it’s time to rest in the finished work of Christ.

      3. A Christian Is Born Again, Not Just Born Into Religion: Being born into a Christian family or attending church doesn’t make someone a Christian. Jesus said that unless we are born again, we cannot see the Kingdom of God. This spiritual rebirth is the true mark of a Christian.

  • September 8, 2024 Sermon - Our Assurance in a Dark World
    2024/09/06

    This Sunday's Inspirational Message is:

Our Assurance In A Dark World!

Here are three key takeaways from this expository sermon based on Romans 8:31-39:

    1. God is Actively Fighting for Us: The battle between good and evil is real, but we can find hope and peace knowing that God is not just a distant observer-He is actively for us, and nothing can ultimately stand against us (Romans 8:31).
    2. Victory is Secured Through Christ: We are not striving for victory; we are standing in the victory that Jesus has already won over sin and evil. Because of Christ’s love, we are more than conquerors, no matter what challenges we face (Romans 8:37).
    3. We Can Live With Confidence and Assurance: As believers, we are called to engage in the spiritual battle with the full assurance that God’s victory is our victory. No matter the opposition, we can live confidently, knowing that nothing can separate us from God’s love (Romans 8:39).
