The episode highlights alarming statistics, including, approximately 1 in 5 women and 1 in 16 men experience sexual assault while in college. Over 90% of sexual assault survivors on college campuses do not report the assault. LGBTQ+ students and marginalized communities are disproportionately affected, often facing additional barriers to reporting and support.
