Earnest Flowers started Earnest Foods one year after the pandemic that devastated the country. Queens, New York was an early epicenter of coronavirus transmission, and its neighborhoods were impacted more than almost any place in the country. From that time of uncertainty, the idea to garner the support of community members, vendors, and elected officials to open a neighborhood market was formed. 

Earnest Foods is a place that truly represents and respects the local community. Individuals and families can come together to shop in confidence and in a surrounding that is worthy of their commerce. The store provides organic produce and poultry, grass fed beef and lamb, many locally made products, items from local farms, flowers, plants and other high-quality items.
