  • Temporary Hold on Beneficial Ownership Filing: Impacts and Next Steps

Hi! I’m Stephanie Rodin, host of the Speaking with Steph podcast. In this episode, I want to cover a crucial update on the beneficial ownership interest filing. • The suspension of the filing requirement is temporary, and it’s unclear whether it will become permanent or lifted, potentially introducing a new filing deadline.

    • The filing requirement was created as part of the Corporate Transparency Act to prevent shell companies and gather information about the owners of legal entities.
