But as you step into the warmth of Poirot’s beautifully centrally-heated apartment, you’re handed a delicious cocktail, and are instantly charmed by his fascinating and distinguished friends. Just as everyone has relaxed into their first drink or two, the lights suddenly start to flicker, and then turn off.
