The story so far: Over a year into living in an underground movie store, we kind of add a new friend into the mix...

After cleaning up the mess of T.H.E.O. from the previous week, we now have to take care of a brain! And we all know there's only one way to learn how to do that -- watch a weirdo film that has vibes of Frank Henenlotter and David Lynch! In this case, it's the new Bleeding Skull 4K release of Disembodied from 1998! But we can't stop with just learning, so we discuss our digusting hotel stories and the Book of Shrek from the Bible, as well as answer the age old question: cake or pie?

The story so far: Its been over a year since the boys were trapped in the magical movie hole and Greg, ever the intrepid one, has a surprise in the works to help them all choose movies...

Hello! Hi! Welcome back! You look so good! Really happy to see you today. How's your day been? Mine's been pretty good. Just sitting here trying to write a description for a podcast. You ever hear of a movie called "11:14"? Well this week we're talking about it! We break down this much-acclaimed 2003 multi-narrative-hydra-of-a-movie while getting distracted by severed dingdongs, a taxidermy museum for dead animal actors, an argument over how best to dispose of a body, and coin the term "coitus mortus".

Also in other exciting news, Greg is spearheading a spinoff podcast that will be releasing every Wednesday! It's called Greg's Cryptid Corner and it's a cute lil thing where we sit around a campfire while he tells us spooky stories about cryptids from around the world. Welcome to the first episode of Greg's Cryptid Corner, a new podcast from us here at Stabby Stabby! We're dropping the first episode into our main feed, but it will be its own show with its own feed with new episodes every Wednesday! Hope you guys enjoy!

Today we're camping outside of Flatwoods, West Virginia. We'll figure out where we all fall on the cryptid-believer scale, and then discuss the Flatwoods Monster incident of 1952, metal dresses, and 50s sci-fi tropes, all while tripping through the mend-bending concepts of ultradimensionality and the superspectrum. The story so far: Still stuck in the movie hole for over a year now, the boys search for new ways to entertain themselves.

This week on Stabby Stabby, we make due with what we have (i.e. a pile of bones!) and start a new band! Sadly none of us know how to play bones, so we check out the folklore-heavy British/Turkish coproduction of 1987s Born of Fire to get us there! While marveling at the beauty of the Turkish landscapes, we delve into discussing rental coffins and naked bald men, and invent both a new Dairy Queen movie tie-in flavor AND a specialty pair of cargo shorts! Buckle in as we get confused about Djinn lore and boba tea moth babies because it's a wild ride!

The story so far: Still stuck in the movie hole, the boys are torn between watching a giallo or a spaghetti western. Also Dan still has a gun for some reason.

This week on Stabby Stabby, join the boys as we discuss the 2017 Belgian neo-western arthouse giallo crime thriller Let the Corpses Tan! It's got stunning imagery, amazing sound design, hundreds of pounds of gold bars, and bodily fluids of all sorts! While we try our best to hash out the plot, we get a little distracted talking about visualizing fantasy, BDSM fishing and whether style-over-substance really applies here.

Also we need to get rid of this gun. So that happens at the end. Not to spoil anything but, well, you'll see.

The story so far: After shooting himself through the hand with a surprise gun, Dan's in need of medical attention.

Hello. Do you like Zu's? You should! This week, we get lost in the incredible, non-stop, zany, over-the-top masterpiece Zu: Warriors from the Magic Mountain. Dan does his best to summarize the plot, but Greg and Eric keep him distracted with cloth magic, eyebrows, and muscle grandpas. Also there's a whole let's-heal-Dan's-hand thing that goes places by the end. It's a whole thing, you'll see.

The story so far: Three friends are trapped in an underground movie rental store managed by a magical anthropomorphic mole man, have adventures, and watch movies to pass the time and figure ways out of predicaments.

This week, we deal with the mental and emotional consequences of our time travel actions. Knowing we're in the presence of some sort of evil cult, we dive into Enter the Devil (1972) to try to learn more about it! For a movie on the video nasties list, it's lacking in a lot of areas, but we talk about it and only veer off topic occasionally to discuss monkey bones, The DEER Hunter, cults of compliments, and stripping train conductors.
