We are FINALLY breaking down and pairing cocktails to Taylor Swift's FIRST EVER SONG ever released. This song, unlike a few others that we've discussed off the debut album, is quite meaningful and full of poignant lyrics. Its choice to be Taylor's first ever lead single was interesting, but also quite brilliant.

Happy fourth of July from your fellow Americans! And in honor of this momentuous occasion, we have chosen one truly all-American Taylor Swift song to pair cocktails to and discuss. Boy do we love a good ol' sappy Taylor Swift love song! But So High School is way more than sappy love, it's reminiscent of a time we've all experienced, or maybe some who are currently experiencing: teenage giddiness! Taylor certainly shows that giddiness on this lovely track, whose sound we are absolutely loving and craving more of! We simply can't get enough of this song, even though Sam sometimes feels a little queesy over Tayvis and their showy relationship. Yes, we did see that Taylor Swift literally performed Shake It Off at a bar in Nashiville this week!!! Why is she so obsessed with us?! In all seriousness though......wait a minute, this episode is meant to be fun! Who's talking about being serious? Just do as Taylor does and SHAKE IT OFF! We were so thrilled to FINALLY break down one of Taylor Swift's most famous songs. Let's be honest, this is one of the WORLD'S most famous songs! And yet, we both chose to make cocktails with vegetables in it?! Who are we? One thing is for certain, though this song has never been our favorite, like always, we can come around to appreciating a Taylor song for the impact that it has. Also, let's just have some fun! Shake It Off is definitely a fun song.
