    From the North West Coast, Max has been a cornerstone of the Ulverstone Football Club since 1977. He played 197 senior games, and then went on to coach the club for 332 games – a staggering legacy that includes 7 Grand Final appearances and 4 premierships.

    He didn’t stop there – Max also coached Devonport for 6 seasons, taking them to regular finals campaigns. A North West Football Union representative, a Tasmanian Football Hall of Famer, and a respected sporting journalist, Max Brown is known for his unmatched ability to inspire players and build success wherever he goes.

  • E3 - From Tassie Turf to the Big League: Trent Bartlett’s Story

    From breaking into senior footy as a 15-year-old draftee all the way through to becoming the driving force behind the Tasmanian Devils’ finals pushes in the VFL.

    Trent’s journey spans more than two hundred senior games, stints at the Brisbane Bears, Brisbane Lions and Western Bulldogs (81 games), and captaincy of multiple representative sides, including Tassie, Queensland and the VFL.

    After overcoming chronic ankle setbacks that sidelined him in 1997, he finally returned home to Tasmania in 2003 and helped reshape the modern era of Tassie Footy, as both a player and an administrator with the original Tassie Devils.
