Show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig finally give their take on the last two films and they are really something. First film on the docket for review is "Hellish Flesh" (1977), which could be easily described as a bizarre horror/thriller that is and is not a Coffin Joe vehicle. And after that, the hosts tackle "Hallucinations of a Deranged Mind" (1978), aka 'Coffin Joe Stock Footage Film Festival', in which new material is stitched with old to make a complete movie with hallucinogenic results and dime-store pop psychology! And yes, Nate from 'Kids Corner' gives his take on the Wes Craven horror classic "A Nightmare on Elm Street" (1984)!

First up is "The Bloody Exorcism of Coffin Joe" (1974), which features director Jose Mojica Marins playing himself battling against his cinematic alter ego, WWExorcist-style! After that it's "The Strange Hostel of Naked Pleasures" (1976) as Coffin Joe portrays the ultimate embodiment of evil: a manager who stands behind a desk and welcomes clueless patrons into his nondescript hostel! Hey, Eli Roth it isn't, but so what? And lest we not forget, Nate from 'Kids Corner' jumps in to give his own review for "Halloween 3: Season of the Witch" (1982).

Hey there, fans! That Horror Show Podcast embraces the new year with a brand-new episode featuring the return of Brazilian filmmaker Jose Mojica Marins' iconic character Coffin Joe (or 'Ze do Caixao' in his native Portuguese language). Show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig reviewed three official Coffin Joe movies back in 2017 (memories!) and thought that was the end of the long-fingernailed, top hat-black wardrobe wearing coffin maker-turned-evil madman. But, as fate would have it, Coffin Joe showed up in a few "unofficial" movies, so it was inevitable the hosts would tackle them for review. So, for Part 1 of this episode: Coffin Joe goes 'Crypt Keeper' in "The Strange World of Coffin Joe" (1968) featuring three tales of bizarre terror, while "The Awakening of the Beast" (1969) is a "shockumentary"-type feature in which Brazilian society is going down the tubes and it all in some drug-induced way involves good ol' Joe! And for a bonus: Nate from 'Kids Corner' gives his take on "Halloween Kills" (2021). So what are you waiting for, fans? Give this episode a little spin!

Merry Christmas and Happy Holiday's, fans! That Horror Show Podcast once again closes out the year with a special Christmas-themed horror movie review episode to bring yuletide joy to your eardrums! Show hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have the Christmas tree up and alight surrounded by gifts, a table set-up with a fully cooked ham and plenty of boxed wine (cause the boys are dirt cheap and that's how they roll!!!), and the mistletoe has been hung over the door (but don't expect the hosts to kiss). And the movie under review is "It's a Wonderful Life", the Frank Capra holiday classic featuring the great James Stewart and...oh, wait, sorry about that: the movie under review is actually called "It's a Wonderful Knife" (2023), which inverts the Frank Capra film into a holiday-themed slasher horror movie! Oh, and lest we forget: Nate from 'Kids Corner' is on hand to give his take on "Halloween" (2018)!

So sit back, grab your favorite popcorn, and make sure the backseat is vacant so you and your special gal have plenty of space for some "quality time" as the hosts talk about "Sting of Death" (1965), which is the one-and-only sci-fi/horror feature to introduce a human jellyfish monster, and then it's "Death Curse of Tartu" (1966) in which a small group of people are threatened by a dead witch doctor that kills by transforming into animals or reptiles! And both are filmed on location in the Florida Everglades!!! So what more could you want, fans??? And Nate from 'Kids Corner' does the unthinkable: he reviews the John Carpenter horror classic "Halloween" (1978). Shudder!!!

Those lovable hosts Timothy Kazda and Chris Koenig have been doing some hardcore (eh, maybe softcore?) WWE practice for this very special episode. Yes, it's a double-feature horror movie review...BUT, it's also a little different in its approach. Basically, Chris and Tim review two 80s horror movies with a very similar theme that came out within the same year, and see which one is better than the other. In the case of this episode, it's none other than Joel Schumacher's set-in-stone classic "The Lost Boys" (1987) vs. Kathryn Bigelow's cult classic "Near Dark" (1987)...in other words, to movies that couldn't be anymore different...or are they??? Hey, you gotta listen to find out what the boys think. And also, none other than Nate from 'Kids Corner' will provide his brief take on both movies as well!
