In industry news, the Arizona beauty sector is experiencing significant growth. The state is projected to generate $142.7 million in revenue this year in the cosmetic and beauty products manufacturing industry. This flourishing industry offers promising opportunities for our graduates as they step into the professional world. On the legislative front, earlier this year, House Bill 2031 was introduced, proposing the dissolution of the Arizona Barbering and Cosmetology Board. This bill has raised concerns among beauty professionals statewide, as the board plays a crucial role in regulating our industry and ensuring public safety. We encourage our students and staff to stay informed and engaged on this matter. In more positive news, the "Blow-Dry Freedom Bill" recently took effect, removing occupational licensing requirements for blow-drying, shampooing, and styling hair.     Good morning, Wildcats! It's Monday, August 4th, and here's what's happening at the Arizona Academy of Beauty. First up, a quick reminder about our flexible class schedules. Whether you're an early bird or a night owl, we've got you covered. Day classes run Tuesday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with Saturday sessions from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. If evenings suit you better, night classes are available Monday from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Tuesday through Friday from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM. For more details, visit our website at arizonaacademy.com. Looking ahead, mark your calendars for the Arizona Farm Bureau Annual Meeting on August 13th. This event will take place from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the University of Arizona Scottsdale Center.
