This podcast wasn’t created to inspire, not in the ways that you’re accustomed to. It was created to stay sane. There’s no fake “rah-rah”, “the world is all rainbows and unicorns” or “affirm your way to happiness” chit-chat; this is real talk for the real world. I’m Chase Murphy. I didn’t launch this to coach, teach, or trend or tell you what you want to hear—I turned on the mic because, what I saw around me, was a bunch of people talking a lot and yet, not talking about the world that I and so many others contend with on a day-to-day basis. And that noise is what inspired me to speak up and out. I am, in no way, for everyone. I don’t do “soft touch” or ”oh gee, I burned the muffins”. This is adult-talk, about adult life and all the stuff that goes with it. You’ll hear about death. About life. About identity, marriage, cancer, doubt, rage, hope, shame, grief, lust, aging, and the everyday battles that people try to spiritualize, monetize, or just flat-out lie about. I don’t do that. I don’t have all the answers and I don’t act like I do. This isn’t therapy. It’s not coaching. And it sure as hell isn’t “personal development.” It’s all about the raw self-concept, survival storytelling, and full-spectrum expression—with nothing held back. Expect strong language. Unapologetic opinions. Moments of brutal honesty. If you’re looking for a safe space, a morning mantra, or a 10-step feels-good-in-tummy plan, keep walking. This ain’t that place. But if you’re tired of being lied to, and many even a tad tired of lying to yourself… If you’re trying to find your voice under the crap that everyone else says is “truth”… If you want something that’s grounded, grown, and brutally present… You’re in the right place. This is The Blue Collar Buddha. And it’s the conversation you didn’t know you needed—but were already having anyway.Copyright 2025 All rights reserved. 出世 就職活動 心理学 心理学・心の健康 社会科学 経済学 衛生・健康的な生活

  • Let’s Introduce (feat. Sharon Murphy)
    2025/06/22

No script. No plan. No edits. Y'all know how I do...

This is the first time that my beloved wife Sharon sits across the mic with me.

We talk about what really led to the Blue Collar Buddha Podcast — not theory, not branding, but cancer, homelessness, f*cking affirmations that didn’t work, support groups that didn’t support (at least, not for me), and that raw moment in the car, homeless and shit, when you realize your metaphysical belief system didn’t save you from the very things you feared.

This isn’t some polished "couple’s" podcast.

    This is real-time life-in-the-moment.

This is what it sounds like when survival meets voice, and love, and companionship, and the willingness to just be real.

If you’ve ever wondered what it actually feels like to live through the shit people only post about after the fact — this one’s for you.

And for me personally, it was such an experience having my beloved across from me for the first time, doing this together. What a friggin' thrill for me!

New podcast coming soon: Sharon Chase (I'll let you know when it's ready and posted!)

  • The Moments After (Sex, Shame & Speaking the Truth)
    2025/06/17

Heads up: This episode contains mature content, sensitive themes, and language that isn’t suitable for children. You’ve been warned.

This one’s not for the faint of heart or those easily offended by frank and open discussions about things too often left unsaid.

In this episode, I dive headfirst into the emotional aftermath of sex— and it's raw (no pun intended), unscripted, and real. From the guilt and shame that once seemed to be the very nature of it all, to finally having an unexpected freedom that I never even knew existed. So yeah, I talk about what it used to feel like after the big "o", and what it feels like now. This isn’t some salacious treatise about technique or performance. This is about those quiet moments after—that no one is talking about, except as maybe a punchline to a tasteless-ass, ego-puffing "joke".

I open up about the deeper layers that people don't openly talk about - especially MEN: emotional awakening and awareness, unspoken fears, and the quiet inner grief that sometimes hides beneath all of the most intimate moments we share with someone we love. You’ll hear how my wife and I navigated a conversation that spun out post-big "o", how I finally, somehow, allowed myself to shift gears without the oppression of guilt, and how I finally, finally reached a point where I could say, “Wait… where did the shame go?”

There’s also some laughter ('cause it ain't all that serious, once you finally "get it"), some back-and-forth, and a whole lot of truth that doesn’t come neatly packaged. This podcast was never meant to fix you. It’s just a place to have that new-level honesty.

  • Off-Script: We Don’t Talk Sweetly
    2025/06/11
Recorded at work, during my shift, part of real life. This one’s not polished. It’s not clean. But like everything else that I’m doing, this is real. No script. No edits. Just a voice—a man—calling bullshit on the way we speak to ourselves. We think criticism is normal. We think the self-talk loop of comparison, correction, and quiet desperation is just how it is. But it’s not. This episode is just about your permission and willingness to hear yourself for real, just as it is. No yoga mat needed. No incense. No affirmation wallpaper. Just you and the voice you’ve been avoiding. Blue Collar Buddha style….
