    2025/07/24
Life brings hurts that sometimes seem insurmountable. And in this series “Hope for the Hurting” our speaker this month Bob Russell has been sharing how we can find Hope when we are hurting, when we hunger, when we are blind, and even when we grieve.Bob Russell is a retired senior minister of Southeast Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky, where he served for 40 years as “Southeast” became one of the largest churches in America. Jesus promised, as recorded in the Bible’s book of John chapter 4, that He had water to give that we would never thirst again. A water springing up to eternal life. Jesus offers that hope to those who will believe in Him. So; hurting, hungry, blind or grieving Jesus offers hope that is more than just for the moment, it is a hope that endures, an eternal hope… here’s Bob Russell with hope that is realistic, hope that is reasonable, hope that is truly eternal. How does that hit you?Throughout this series we have been hearing messages from Rick Atchley, who is the lead minister with “The Hills Church” in Fort Worth Texas. Over the last 6 weeks Rick has led us through a series of messages offering answers to tough questions from people just like you and me. In today’s final message Rick tackles a question we have all ask “But What About – All the Doubts I Still Have?” Let’s face it; this side of heaven, maybe even beyond, we are never going to reach a place in our relationship with God where there are no more questions. So maybe we need to realize that having all the answers is not really the goal in the first place? But there are things we can do to strengthen our faith and help us walk closer to God. Here's Rick to explain how and why doubt does not need to be the enemy of faith… To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/326/29
