She compared Jesus with Jacob, saying that hundreds of years earlier Jacob provided water for himself, his sons, and his livestock. How could Jesus and the offer of living water be greater than that? What followed was a life-changing discussion about the gift of God, living water, the woman's past, worship, and the Messiah.
