  • Evening Edition: Fight Against Anti-Semitism Criticized
    2025/05/21
The Heritage Foundation, an influential conservative think tank in D.C., launched a major effort to fight anti-Semitism last year on the first anniversary of the October 7th terror attack on Israel. Heritage dubbed it "Project Esther', named after a hero in Jewish culture, and it has a focus on shining a light on the support network of the terror group Hamas. It has also influenced the Trump Administration's fight against anti-Semitism, like cutting federal funding to certain universities that haven't done enough to curb anti-Semitism on their campuses, but the project is now being called radical by critics. FOX’s Eben Brown speaks with Victoria Coates, former deputy national security advisor to President Donald Trump, Victoria Coates is Vice President of the Kathryn and Shelby Cullom Davis Institute for National Security and Foreign Policy at The Heritage Foundation, who says the recent criticisms are political and religious 'hit jobs'. • The President Unveils His "Golden Dome" Plan
    2025/05/21
President Trump on Tuesday announced a new plan to build a Golden Dome missile defense system. Displaying the design from the Oval Office with his Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and Space Force General Michael Guetlein, Trump asserted the new defense infrastructure--estimated to cost between $25 billion and $75 billion--will be a necessary layer of security for the homeland that he says “hopefully we never have to use.” U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) has been a longtime advocate for improving America’s missile defenses, on the Rundown she discusses this Golden Dome plan, ongoing diplomacy with Russia and Iran, and her efforts to fight EV mandates. Last Thursday, Walmart announced it would be raising its prices due to the impact of President Trump's tariffs. Americans initially wary of tariffs had cited this concern: that tariffs could bring about price hikes that would eventually hit their wallets. With back-to-school shopping along with the summer holidays and barbecues ahead, some businesses are preparing to adjust. Founder and CEO of Storch Advisors and former CEO of Toys "R" Us, Gerald Storch is a retail industry veteran. He joins the podcast to share the true impact of tariffs on America's retail industry. • Growing Hope For American Farmers
    2025/05/20
The United States and the UK have reached a trade deal that gives the American agriculture industry far greater access to the UK markets. President Trump called the new agreement "historic," pledging it will reduce the non-tariff barriers that unfairly discriminate against American products by ensuring American farmers and ranchers can sell their goods to global markets. First, Agriculture Department Secretary Brooke Rollins joins the Rundown to discuss the expansion of U.S. farm products into the UK and what the President teased as "billions of dollars of export opportunities produced by America's great farmers." Later, farmer and author of "Land Rich, Cash Poor," Brian Reisinger, joins to discuss how the deal delivers relief to U.S. farmers after the squeeze of tariffs. Over the weekend, news broke that former President Joe Biden has been diagnosed with stage 4 prostate cancer. Prostate cancer is the most common cancer among adult men in the United States and is the second leading cause of cancer-related deaths.
