    This episode covers AI and automation in the context about how agriculture. To begin with, a short story of how technological advancements may change the agricultural industry and how this could be perceived by farmers is told.     The fashion industry today is a large source of the world's pollution. It is responsible for one tenth of the world's released greenhouse gas emissions along with countless other negative impacts on the environment such as plastic pollution and excessive fresh-water usage.

    The industry is being pushed to create circular business models and small steps have already been made towards a transition – yet challenges remain for this giant of a sector.     The furniture industry: an industry that is strongly characterized by traditional working methods and old fashioned resource management. With a long history, the furniture industry has undergone many changes over the years. With new technological innovations and society’s increased demands for sustainability, it is destined to change further in the coming years. Therefore, you may wonder: What will the furniture industry look like in 5-10 years from now? This is exactly the question we, Futuristic Opportunities, will try to answer in this podcast. Join us as we, together with the help of several experts, analyze the current situation of the industry and discuss how the future of furniture will look like.

    The podcast is divided into three parts. First off we get the help of an industry expert to get an overview of the current climate of the furniture industry. The second part consists of giving a student, who is eager to know more about the furniture industry, the spotlight. This student gives his own thoughts about furniture and interviews several experts of the industry. Lastly, the third part of the podcast includes a discussion of the information provided earlier on in the podcast and a run-down of several possible scenarios for the future. Three questions are also presented for the listener to reflect on.
