  • S05E01: BS From the Boardroom: 3 Lies About Business
    2025/07/01

In this episode, we’re calling BS on some of the biggest narratives that dominate corporate life. You’ve likely heard them a hundred times yourself:

    “There’s a war for talent.”

    “We build high-performing teams.”

    “We’re looking for real leaders.”

But when you compare those talking points to what actually happens inside organizations, the contradictions become impossible to ignore. With more than 15 years in the trenches including leading teams, managing change, and seeing how the system really works behind the scenes from top to bottom. Add in some research, some data, and a few unfiltered conversations, and we’re ready to say what most people won’t: a lot of what companies preach just doesn’t hold up in practice.

Is it all just marketing? Is it a case of best intentions? Or are they intentional lies?

The only way to start fixing things is be acknowledging the problem, so join us to be part of the conversation.
