    What’s super cool about this, we got to turn the tables on Luis, who normally is the one interviewing but today was the interviewer. What an honor and privilege to have, not only stepped on ATTL studios but given the opportunity to know Luis heart in a deeper way.

    Duzco shares his personal relationship with his baby mama, his children, coparenting and although it’s complicated, it’s also simple when you love. We don’t stop there, I (Mike) digs deep with father/ mother questions, his healing journey and emotional intelligence. Extremely impressed on his answers, why? Because you can tell he answers with intelligence, not arrogance… understands how his actions can quickly dismiss anything even when right! How his absence can create voids in the people he loves.     Season Ending Episode!!
    Season 5 Episode 10’ is a RAP!!!
    Always a bitter sweet moment, it’s like I don’t want to leave you guys but resets are important.

    To end this season, we welcomed my cousin Hector Naranjo.
    He basically is my childhood friend but more like my brother.

    Hector surprised me, with his vulnerability and openes to share his story but how he owned his actions. He shared how he didn’t feel guilty when doing the hurtful actions, that in his mind… he was a “good guy”, which in reality he is a good guy but was making wrong decisions. I admired how he took accountability, Hector shared that he was cheating on his girlfriend, didn’t know, much less understood the damage and hurt he caused her and so many around them. This took him to start looking inward and ask questions like… “why did I do that?, why do I feel alone?, where did all my money go? And more.

    Family, I’m telling you…. This is such a great episode. Topics we discussed are; cheating/ lying, fighting addictions beer, depressions, material things, to losing his mother at 19 years (Hector), and quitting his job to follow Christ. The stories dont just stop there. Hector has so much wisdom that an hour episode will do no justice but it will give you insight of the heart he carries.

    People think the mistakes define a person, but… God says “your sin is forgiven and I love you, ______” He calls you by your name and no shame.

    Episode 9!! Season is almost over!!

    Please welcome my good friend, Doug Weisskopf.

    Doug is a friend that I just made a few months ago, thru out daughters friendships. When speaking to him, and listening to his story… my goodness… was good using him.
    He had no idea I’m going thru a divorce, yet his story was giving me hope, breathing room.

    Not only was Doug open and shared but when his vulnerability allowed me to feel heard, understood and a moment of peace!
    I didn’t know anyone could understand, I thought I was alone, fighting off depression and evil thoughts. He keeper talking, sharing and I stayed listening… so much that I had to bring him on the podcast! I needed to share his story to other men and women. It’s okay to not be okay, it’s okay to feel defeated/ destroyed. What’s not okay is to stay there. Doug shared the importance of healing himself first so that all areas around him can improve.

    Doug share feeling unloved, not having his parents show up for him at special events, creating an inner child trauma, hurt that affected his marriage and fatherhood. Never the less, didn’t just use this as an excuse, he DID something about it! Took matters into his own hands, developed himself, read a lot of books, healed inner child and present trauma… and is living his best life.
