After that, Donald Trump seems to suggest that the Nazis are still in power in Germany. He tells the German chancellor that D-Day must be a bad day for Germany, because, you know, it was huge turning point in the defeat of Hitler's dictatorship. And a former denouncer of Andrew Cuomo who is also running against him in the NYC mayor's race has had a change of heart and is now endorsing him. Don't rank Jessica Ramos NYC folks! He’s also the author of four books on US foreign policy in the Middle East, with a particular focus on Iran and Israel and him and Emma go over the latest on the Gaza and U.S. - Iran negotiations. We're joined as always by Matt Binder and Brandon Sutton in the Fun Half, where we check in on the relationship between Elon Musk and Donald Trump. Looks like it's on the rocks at the moment. Ro Khanna says it's an opportunity to ally with Musk (but he's wrong). Some of the cuts will impact federally-backed science institutions, including weather monitoring. Florida meteorologist John Morales tells his viewers on air that he doesn't think he'll be able to predict the paths of hurricanes this season as he has in previous years because of the defunding of vital monitoring institutions. First, Sam speaks to Wired senior writer Makena Kelly about Doge and Elon Musk's lingering impact on the government, as well as Palantir and it's role in government surveillance.
