  • Johns, brand new 'Hybrid' BBQ
    2025/05/06

John and his family, have been sold a new BBQ and then decided it was the BBQ equivalent of the EV car.

Our imagination went to the salesperson, who had sold them on the idea, that a BBQ that runs on both gas and charcoal, is the new equivalent of the EV. Well as you will find John is taken with his new investment, and also reminded us all of the correct rules for the use of the BBQ, and for those that don't know take a listen and ensure you and your other half are aware of the 'given' rules.

  • From trimming a bush to looking after grand kids
    2025/05/06

Now what was it that drew your attention was it the trimming of a bush, and wondering what sort of bush would Old Gits get to trim, or were you looking for helpful hints and tips as to what you can do with your grandkids?

Well sorry to burst your bubble but as you will find it certainly is NOT that sort of bush, and as for helpful hints for grandkids, as you will find out it is only one of us who has any experience as it's only one of us with any grandkids, although that will be changing real soon as two-thirds of the team will have them shortly.

Maybe then we can dedicate a whole episode or show on what to do with them. On second thoughts if you need any of our help with anything such as that, our advice is likely to be................ Give Up. Anyway click away and enjoy our tales.

  • Back together again.
    2025/03/27

Well, after such a long while, we all descended on Chris to record the Podcast and show from his studio, which provided us with a great opportunity to put the world right. We had to admit, we forgot to record that part of the show, mind you, had we done so, we could well have called time on the whole show from that point.

As usual, we cover such a diverse range of subjects, everything from mental health to cancer and the dumping of rubbish, as well as Chris's upcoming wedding plans and how John & David can help with the purchase of one skip to allow Chris to offload his excess furniture and effects.

I promise you it is an interesting listen, even though it may not sound as though it is from the above details.

Go on, give it a go.

  • Multi tasking among other things.
    2025/02/20

This is like a podcast version of a bowl of Muesli, where everything is included. From a young lady, who is "of the larger size in the sauna", advising others who were considerably slimmer than her, telling them it was hot to help people lose weight.

Then on to the Super Bowl, with Chris advising us all about his nightly ablutions. and this was the only reason he saw the final, as he had to get up to visit the loo.

Then we even ventured onto the Six Nations, so you see what we mean when we say it is like a bowl of Muesli.

Well, listen in and see what you think and of course, we would love to hear your feedback.

  • Fancy a quickie?
    2025/02/20

It is now official, the latest timing that a two-minute and thirty-second quickie has been reduced to 2 minutes according to a new survey. As you will find out depending on what time you or your partner decide to have a quickie romp, is dependent on how long your particular session will last.

I was going to advise you on the best time to have your very own quickie, but thought I would leave that to you to listen and find out in the next few minutes, in fact, it will take as long to listen to this as it will for you to have your quickie.

    There's a thought for you.
