    In this episode we chat about building blocks and foundations and the time that it takes to do this when we are on a new trajectory for a goal. We chat about how it may not be the timeline that we want and that things may take longer than we expect.

    I recently had surgery on my arm and in my recovery, I've had to be in my own new shoes, that also put me into my clients shoes, by learning about timelines goals and reaching targets that ultimately often take longer than we want. I've got to experience what it's like to not be where I want to be, and I have a time ahead of me that's possibly going to draw out longer than I would've ever hoped. It is giving me more compassion for my clients in their endeavour to get to where it is that they want to be.

    2024 is the year we changed our vision, goals and offers here at The Rig. We shut down our mobile/ group fitness classes and inadvertently started a gym on our farm. Listen to how that came about, what led us there, what visions we have for the future and to chat about how its ok to change your goals.     We can do hard things. But we also may have deeper thoughts and issues at play. Finding the appropriate help and tools to deal with this is pivotal to how well we can move forward and heal. Don't allow past experiences and trauma to continue to have a hold over you. Easier said than done.. but often what's looking back at us in the mirror isn't what we want to see. Even if its at goal weight......

    Why aren't you letting that person have a crack at being you? You can't be the person you want to be if you're constantly shoving yourself in a box. Let go and go get it... you can and are the person you want to be... just nourish yourself and start to allow yourself to see you for who you are. Maybe you've been there all along. x
